James M. Hammond BA, MA, MSc., PhD., D.D. (Professional credentials NCC, CPC, CCL, LICSW, LPC, MAC and NCGC) husband, father, grandfather, is an internationally respected behavioral therapist, leadership authority, teacher, cleric, and former chairman of the Psychology Department at Washington Adventist University in Takoma Park, Maryland.

He is co-author of Marriage, Family, Singleness, and has written numerous articles for national and international journals. Seminars and speeches take him abroad often. His consultantships range from churches to government agencies.
